Volunteer

Behind every MacTuffX event there is a team of people that make it work; as part of that, Volunteers are often the unsung and unappreciated part of it. At MacTuffX we value the contribution of Volunteers and reward those that step up.

We provide a number of opportunities for you to get involved – even if you are racing you can help – and we can provide a number of benefits in return for your support - often paying for your race place. We are always looking for new faces to join our community to assist us across the following areas.

JUDGING

This is a crucial element of MacTuffX and it gets you close up to the heat of the action. You do not need to have previous experience of judging to join us but you must know your functional fitness moves and adhere to the MacTuffX movement standards.
Judging often means being authoritative and having the ability to deal with athletes under the pressure of competition is a skill that we can both help you with, and support on the event day.

EVENT SUPPORT TEAM

Our operations team always needs support staff to assist us during the day. If you are organised, efficient, friendly and work well in fast paced environments then this would suit you.

EQUIPMENT SETUP

if you are strong and able and have the time in the early morning or early evening then maybe you can help with equipment set up and breakdown before and after the event.

DIGITAL & MEDIA

If you are a photographer, videographer or social media whizz we are always keen to hear from you and how you can assist us at our events.

DRIVING PARTICIPATION

if you are an influencer, or someone with an exceptional network that can help drive participation in MacTuffX events, check our affiliates page on how you can get involved.

WHAT WE PROVIDE:

We will provide you with -

Free event places and/or event credit, with further allowances available for deeper involvement
MacTuffX merchandise to keep (at least a t-shirt)
Everything you need to perform your role
Snacks and drinks throughout the event
